Nikaya d.o.o. conducts video surveillance within its business premises for the purpose of ensuring the safety of individuals and protecting property. The legal basis for performing video surveillance is defined in Articles 76–78 of the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 163/22 and 40/25).

The collected data is used exclusively to prevent and address cases of misuse, fraud, criminal offenses, and other situations that may endanger the safety of people or property. Depending on the location, live monitoring may also be carried out. Individuals are appropriately informed of this through a notice displayed at the place where video surveillance is installed. Video recordings are retained for a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 3 months.
